Xfers will provide you with transaction notifications (for both incoming and outgoing transactions) to either your mobile phone number via SMS or to your email if that has been provided, or otherwise in accordance with your instructions. Please note that your instructions to us regarding transaction notification preferences may impact your claims for unauthorised transactions under Section 5 of the E-Payments User Protection Guidelines. These notifications will be sent to you real time for each transaction made.
You are responsible for enabling transaction notification alerts on any device used to receive transaction notifications, opting to receive all transaction notifications for all outgoing transactions of made from your Xfers account, and monitoring the transaction notifications sent to you. We may assume that you will monitor such transaction notifications without further reminders or repeat notifications.
The transaction notification we send you will contain the following information:
- information on the XFERS account which the transaction relates to;
- name of the recipient or trading name of the receiving merchant;
- Transaction amount;
- Transaction time and date;
- Transaction type;
